Anti Chaff Tape

Is there a preffered product to use for anti-chaff tape. I've been removing the cotton off my Great Lakes and I've found everything from duct tape to masking tape. I want to do the best job I can and know I did it right. Thanks, Dana LaBounty

The industry standard that we sell along with all other covering supply companies including spruce and wicks is a low tack 1" wide fabric tape. It sticks much better if you pull a little tension when applying it. Most people over do chafe tape and use it in areas that are not needed. I don't much like the idea of duct tape under the fabric. Either the modern masking tapes, medical tape, hockey stick tape, or the standard aircraft use low tack anti-chafe tape will get the job done.
