EkoBond to splice into Razorback?

Jason, do you have any experience using EkoBond to splice new fabric (e.g., Superflite, Ceconite 102) into existing Razorback?  Would this even be acceptable?

As you know Razorback hasn't been available for a long time, but we will need to comply with the Pawnee horizontal tail attach A.D. from LAVIA in the next couple years.  Due to cost and downtime, would rather not do complete fuselage recover at this time.  This particular cover job has a LOT of A.N. Yellow taughtening butyrate over the pre-preg fibreglass cloth, but is showing minimal ringworm for as old as it is.  Then there would be the colour matching (not a big deal) etc to finish up the job.

Thanks.  cubscout

We are approved for repair and re-paint over other systems. What you have to do is get down to bare fabric to make a fabric to fabric bond. I would try to get about a 2" glue joint to the bare Razorback fabric. We can color match but it's going to be super shiny if that's ok. Maybe a color scheme change is in order? Add a trim color in the repair area?
