This is my first time covering an airplane and I am having some difficulty understanding how to figure out where the propeller slipstream is located. My airplane is high wing tractor configuration. I found some information that said to use the high speed rib stitch spacing in the slipstream area and defined that as the propeller width plus one rib. I am not sure how to figure this.

If my propeller is 72 inches long do I measure 36 inches from the center of the fuselage plus one rib? Or, do I measure three feet plus one rib out from the side of the fuselage? Or is there another way to figure this?
