Need for Clearcoat

Jason:  Finished the RANS S-12S.  It looks great and the process was rewarding.  I do have parts that are just as smooth as glass.  These were after much experience was obtained with earlier parts.  Either way, I constantly get positive comments on the paint.

The next question is will it ever need clearcoat?  Or will a good waxing do the job?  Plane is hangared.

Thanks,
Corey

No need for clear coat.

Just wax the paint and use the best wax you can find.  All high performance waxes are compatible with the EkoPoly Premium.  To remove wax if you need to make a repair just clean the surface with Isopropyl Alcohol.

Wax is a great idea in a harsh weather environment such as Florida
