Ekofill, Ekoprime or Ekopoly?

Hi Jason,
The re-covering I did recently came out great in spite of not having as much light or ventilation as I should have. Thanks for all of your help.
My work in progress is a biplane with the wings mostly a cream color and the fuselage mostly red.  I want to have white under the red areas so my question is what I should use under the red on the fuselage?  I used both Ekofill and Ekoprime on the last project and felt that I was adding unnecessary weight because of the amount required.  Would Ekopoly (white) give me color saturation with less weight than the primers?
Thanks,
Al

It's ok to use white paint instead of primer to get a white base for red paint but it's twice as expensive.  The weight difference is fairly insifnificant between the two. You'll get a smoother finish if you paint, sand, and repaint than if you just paint over primer.
